ATL Cold Storage began Operations at the Ellyson Industrial Park located in Pensacola, Florida in 1989. The footprint consisted of approximately 80,000 Sq Ft of Refrigerated Space on twenty fours Acres of Industrial Property. Operating in conjunction with Alterman Transport Lines; a Nationwide Refrigerated LTL Trucking Carrier - ATL Cold Storage provided Freezer, Cooler, Candy and Dry Storage to many Customers across the United States. In 2002 Alterman Transport Lines ceased Trucking Operations and Liquidated all Assets. At that timeframe Alterman Transport Lines Owners transferred Ownership of ATL Cold Storage to Bill Sadler the Alterman Terminal/Operations Manager who oversaw both the Trucking and Cold Storage Operations at Pensacola since 1989. The name was changed to "All Temperture Logistics" ATL Cold Storage upon transfer of ownership.
During the 2003 -2005 Hurricane Season the NW Florida Panhandle sustained numerous near and direct hits from Category 3 and above Storms which included back to back to back Hurricanes Ivan, Katrina, and Dennis.
The Main Cold Storage Facility suffered significant damages during this timeframe requiring the Operations to be moved to a location at the I-110 Mini Industrial Park (Now the new Baptist Hospital Location) located in Pensacola and continued operating at a reduced capacity for many years.
Fast forward to 2025 and ATL (All Temperature Logistics) Cold Storage was sold to Damien's Ice Cream and NW Florida Cold Storage. Combining these Companies and building a brand new Cold Storage Facility located in the NW Florida Industrial Park on Hwy 87 just minutes south of Interstate 10 brought new life to ATL Cold Storage.
The new Facility can accommodate over 500 Freezer Pallet Spaces and a limited amount of Cooler spaces. The response has been overwhelming working with past and current Cold Storage Customers. As we continue to Grow our Goal is to provide that Personal Service as a Micro Cold Storage that you would not normally receive at the larger Mega Cold Storages. When thinking about "Location" and "Services" (including Last Mile Delivery) please keep ATL Cold Storage in mind as we will answer or return your call and you will speak to a real "Live Person" to handle your Account!!!!
